Monthly Archives: March 2012
Our weekend was full of completing mostly unpleasant but necessary tasks. Here’s are the big things we did:
- Keith put some more finishing touches on the trim of the porch.
- We cleaned more of the yard and burned many tree branches along with a huge tree that fell a few years ago.
- We painted the ceilings in the den and the bathroom.
- We cleaned the greenhouse type room that was full of bugs and critters, which took great amounts of bug bombs and courage.
See what I mean?
I didn’t take many pictures this week but here are the few I did take:
Every Thursday is Noon Tunes at the Downtown library and this was the group playing this week (taken with my iPhone)
Cats get into the oddest positions for sleeping (taken with my iphone)
A view of the inside of the front porch Friday night before we starting working this weekend.
We went to the lake this weekend and Keith burned a couple of the brush piles while our cat enjoyed sitting on his new perch surveying the outdoors safely behind the screen. For your enjoyment, here are a few of the sights.
My first visit to Philadelphia, my first time to see the Liberty Bell, my first Philly cheesesteak sandwich, and my first iPad all this week. I went to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for the Public Library Association and went to several good sessions. I was able to squeeze in some time to visit the Liberty Bell during a lunch break. It’s always fascinating to see pieces of history. Since I had pre-ordered my new iPad, it arrived on Friday as expected but I was not there to get it so my wonderful husband made arrangements to pick it up at the UPS store. Now I’m home, sitting on the couch using the dictation to share this post.
