271|365 Hand Tool (10/2/11)
I wanted to get ideas on furniture that doesn’t have lots of hidey holes for creepy crawly things. This is especially foremost in my mind given the fact that yesterday we found at least one live brown recluse aka fiddleback spider at our additional lake home hiding under the couch. So, this morning I was looking around on craigslist for various types of futons, chairs, couches, etc for our lake place.
I forwarded a few ideas to Keith and he liked one of the futons so we made arrangements to go see it. While its owners live in a very run down area, the futon is in very good condition and seems to be good quality. The bed portion is long enough for Keith to stretch out and it’s comfortable to sit and lay on so we bought it.
This evening I got our carpet steam cleaner with the upholstery tools out and began cleaning our new futon. The digital photography school theme this week is ‘tools’ so I thought it fitting to share a photo of the tool sitting on the newly cleaned upholstery.
For those who are interested in what the futon looks like, here are the photos that were on the ad showing its features. It also has storage under the seat portion.
